Stories: Carrara Marble for the Freedom Tower
Carrara Marble in the Tower
In such an ambitious project with a high symbolic value, Carrara marble was a must since it has always been part of the most prestigious architectural works in the world. The marble was supplied by Franchi Umberto Marmi even if it was not so easy given the complexity of the project. Alberto Franchi described it in the video interview by We Wealth: “The whole project was carried out using our Calacatta Franchi. We had to assure quality, a certain direction of the vein and the dimensions of each individual block since they were all oversized. We wanted to give our contribution to the construction of a so important monument that will remain over time and that has given even more visibility to Carrara, its marbles and Franchi Umberto Marmi”.

Visiting the One World Trade Center
The Freedom Tower can be visited. Visitors can reach the one world observatory on the 102nd floor, where it is possible to enjoy multimedia experiences and panoramic spots over the city. On the 101st floor, they can find a restaurant and a bar.
